The Entree Bath

"A totally new bathing concept"

The Entree Bath incorporates several new design featuresfor improved egonomics, economics and levels of care over conventional whirpool bathing systems.

Barrier free access

With its door rotated open the Entree Bath's internal seat actually extends over the floor surface by three inches. This provides exceptional ergonomic access for individuals who are ambulatory walk-ins, sliding transfers from geri and wheelchairs, or transferred by stand-up lifts and sling lifts. Access to sanitize inside the tub is exceptional and the stress caused by bending over a conventional tub rim to perform this task eliminated.

BathAire(sm) a cost effective alternative to whirlpool bathing

Its benefits over whirlpool are:

  1. Self sealing air valve outlets eliminate contaminated water from entering the internal air system significantly reducing the potential for cross-contamination.
  2. Extra time/labour, hot water and cleaner/disinfectant needed to sanitize and back-flush an internal pump and plumbing system is eliminated.
  3. The Cleaning action is more evenly distributed with 24 strategically located multidirectional air injection ports.

The design of the inner tub shell reduces the amount of hot water used per bath over typical designs. This feature, coupled with BathAir and a fill water control system, substantially reduces the amount of the following valuable resources used on an annual basis:

  4. Cleaner/Disinfectant
  5. Time

    How the BathAire System Works

The graphic shows how BathAire's self sealing air valve outlet opens under pressure to inject air into the bath water through six individual multidirectional air injection ports. The Entree' Bath has four ergonomicalIy located air valve outlets providing a total of 24 air injection ports. This provides for gentle evenly distributed cleaning action through out the entire bath water. Conventional whirlpool systems generally have one or two outlets each with a single air injection port that concentrates the air bubble cleaning action in limited upper areas of the bath water. Improved electronic water control system The electronic water control system has the following key features:

  1. Hot water anti-scald system that automatically shuts off the hot water if it exceeds 109 degrees.
  2. A two stage fill level control sys- tem that automatically fills the tub up to just below the overflow max- imizing the immersion depth of the bath water while eliminating wasted hot water though the overflow.

    Self diagnostic electronics

Takes the guess work out of trouble shooting systems with modern electronic controls. A series of color coded lights on the electronic boards allows maintenance to quickly analyze, isolate and reme- dy the service needs of the system.

The Entree'Bath is compatible with most patient lift systems

TheEntree Bath's compatibility with most sling and stand-up type lift systems allows you to bathe a wide variety of physically impaired individuals using lifts already available at your facility.
